On Friday, Israel’s military confirmed the overnight attack on the Hamas site located in the Gaza strip by bombing through national aircraft. The attack is reported to be a response to an incendiary balloon launch.

Hamas, the Islamist group ruling over the Gaza strip also confirmed the attack. The bombing destroyed the weapon manufacturing area of the group, the military said.

Stating the latest development, the military said, “In response to the arson balloon fire towards Israeli territory today IDF (Israeli military) fighter jets struck weapons manufacturing site belonging to Hamas.”

Following the ceasefire which put a full stop to 11 days Israel-Hamas conflict, Palestinians from Gaza launched an incendiary balloon that burned Israel’s field.

The Baloon was launched to ease up the curtailment on the coastal enclave, Palestinians said. The enclave was imposed with restrictions by Israel during the 11 days conflict.

The ballons reported being launched on Thursday caused around four bush fires in Israel’s cities near the border. Citing, Fawzi Barouhm, Hama’s spokesman, Reuters reported, “Palestinians were putting pressure on (Israel), forcing it to respect the rights of our people and to walk back its unjust positions.”

Moreover, for resolving the issue, arbitration efforts are conducted by Egypt and United Nations. However, the efforts do not seem to be fruitful yet.
