Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on July 19, urges all the opposition leaders to ask the sharpest and toughest questions but also allow the government to respond during the proceedings in the parliament.
The monsoon session of the parliament is all scheduled to begin today, July 19, Monday. It will be wrapped up by August 13, 2021.
“Allow the government to respond”, says PM Modi while confronting media on the very first day of the session.
In addition to this, PM Modi appeals, “I would like to urge all the MP’s and all the parties to ask the most difficult and sharpest questions in the houses but should allow the government to respond, in a disciplined environment. This will boost democracy, strengthen people’s trust, and improve pace of development”.
Adding further, he says, “We want that the pandemic is discussed on priority. We can get constructive suggestions from all MPs so that there comes a fresh approach in the fight against Covid and shortcomings be corrected so that everyone moves forward together in the fight”.
PM Narendra Modi also addressed the vaccinated ones as ‘Bahubali’.
“The vaccine is given in arms, ‘baahu’, and those who have taken the jabs are ‘Bahubali’s’. Over 40 crore people have become ‘Bahubali’ in the fight against Covid. It is being taken forward. The pandemic has gripped the entire world. So we want meaningful discussion in the parliament over it”, states Prime Minister Modi.
He also says that he’s asked all floor leaders to take out some time so that he’ll provide them elaborated information on the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I’ve urged all floor leaders that if they can take out some time tomorrow evening then I’d like to give them all detailed information regarding the Covid pandemic. We want discussion inside the parliament as well as with the floor leaders outside the parliament”, informs PM Modi.
