Fact-Checking Policy

Journalists are supposed to cross-check the information provided by the sources. This includes checking the name and position of the person about whom the story is talking about. For this, we suggest our journalists to primarily consider official and authenticate sources only.

Whenever we quote any statement or information in our story, we also attach the URL of the source (from social media) which is either related to the subject or the information.

We specially focus to distinguish fact from rumour. Journalists working for The Liberal Journal are strictly bound to its ethics policy.
