Popular South-Indian actress Nayanthara to be paired with Shah Rukh Khan


A long-due collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with South India’s coveted filmmaker Atlee is finally coming into the picture. Now the project, after several months, has finally started unfolding as the makers are now moving closer towards the pre-production phase. There have been several developments to the project of the upcoming film.

According to a Times Of India report, the filmmaker is in talks with the popular south Indian actress Nayanthara. Talks are there to cast the actress opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Some reports have also suggested that the film will be a Hindi language remake of Atlee’s Tamil film-Mersal. But an official announcement is still pending. The film can go on floors by the end of this year if all goes in their favor. SRK fans are still awaiting any response from the superstar.

In the debut directorial Raja Rani of Atlee, the actor had worked with him. Nayanthara was also part of his last directorial, Bigil. Last Nayanthara was last seen in Tamil comedy Mookuthi Amman. In the film, she was seen playing the role of a goddess. When talking about her upcoming collaborations it includes a remake of the Korean thriller Blind, a Tamil thriller Netrikann.

Currently, SRK is busy completing the shoot for Siddharth Anand’s Pathan. The film also stars  John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The ‘king of romance’ is also giving a signal to Rajkumar Hirani’s Immigration based social comedy.

SRK was last seen in the film, Zero in 2018.
