CBSE Results 2021: Here’s how DigiLocker can help in checking your scores

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to declare 10th & 12th board results. Class 10th results will probably be out this week while the 12th results are likely to be declared on July 31.

As there’s a lot of bustle on the website on the day results are declared because lakhs of candidates consistently visit the website. It has caused the website to crash multiple times. In order to avoid the same, it has been decided that the results will directly reach the students via their digilocker, which has been provided by the Central Government to make the significant documents (Board exam results, Migration Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Skill certificates, etc) directly accessible to the students in a more convenient way.

Students need to use the registered mobile number with the CBSE board in order to access the Digilocker and download their mark sheets.

Steps to create an account on Digilocker:

  1. Visit the link, https://accounts.digitallocker.gov.in/
  2. Enter your name (as provided in your Aadhaar card)
  3. Enter your mobile number
  4. You’ll get an option to set a six-digit security pin. Go ahead
  5. Enter your Email-id
  6. Enter your Aadhaar number
  7. Click on the ‘Submit’ option
  8. Create a username

Now, in order to access your Digilocker, you can either download the app, ‘Digilocker’ from Play Store, or you could directly visit the website.

Here’s how you can access your mark sheet (in case you visit the website)

1.Click on ‘Central Board of Secondary Education, which is available under the ‘Education’ section

2. Select class 10th/12th passing certificate or class 10th/12th mark sheet

3. Login using the mobile number registered with the CBSE and get your mark sheet/certificate.

Now, in case you’re using the app:

  1. Select ‘Central Board of Secondary Education’ from under the ‘Education’ section
  2. Select class 10th/12th passing certificate or class 10th/12th mark sheet
  3. Enter the year in which you sat for the examination
  4. Enter your roll number (as provided in your board admit card)
  5. Click on ‘Get Document’.
